The SlimCORE™ 144F cable targets telecom and data-centre core distribution applications, including full-rack MPO patching, central-office termination, and high-density backbone aggregation. The twelve 12-fibre subunit construction enables extensive fanout to individual MPO modules, supporting concentrated patching at the row or rack level.

With a 10.4 mm outer diameter and 93 kg/km nominal weight, the cable requires planned tray routing but remains manageable for in-building deployment. Configurations are available in single-mode (G.657.A1) and multimode (OM3, OM4, OM5).

Intended for core distribution across the Johannesburg and Cape Town hyperscale datacentre clusters, with full-rack MPO fanout from a single cable pull. Also targeted at carrier-neutral interconnect facilities serving Lagos and Nairobi business centres where rack-level patch density drives cable selection over smaller-count alternatives.
