Engineered for situations where network protection is critical, such as long-haul transmission or backhaul routes, this high strength loose tube fibre optic cable features a Polythylene jacket with a Nylon layer for insect resistence, with increased ability to withstand tensile and cross forces. This construction provides excellent crush resistance, tensile performance, and flexibility for use in duct or direct-buried applications, especially where black, shifting soils are of concern.
The design enables easy handling and fibre protection, while the all-dielectric build eliminates earth bonding/earthing requirements, ideal for telecommunications carriers, transport corridors and environments where cable operation is of critical importance. Optimised for carrier, broadband, transport, utility networks and harsh environments.
This cable is also available with rodent-resistant non-metallic armour.
